But someone should buy !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The ask is $2,100 CDN for a 1973 Fiat 124 Spider with a crappy paintjob and a missing window. Seems fair. The Cromodora wheels alone are worth $800. I’m using all my willpower to keep from buying it because I really want the 1969 model and not the later ones. The ‘69 has a few early features which I really like.

I still think you should do it...once everything is sorted, they are quite simple to work on and are actually fairly reliable. (‘Note the once everything is sorted’ comment - as much as I love them, it is a classic FIAT after all! :P)
$2100 sounds like a steal if it runs, has a good roof and has ‘little rust’ (if that’s not a lie)

I’d do it, just because you can afford to modify it to your own tastes. Lowered suspension, a rorty exhaust, and a pair of cibies would make this thing dreamy.

The 69's are just as cheap, just harder to find. I’ll hold out a while longer.

Nice link! I really like the tiny circular marker lights, smaller tail lights and flat gauges of the ‘69. The ‘69's are just as cheap as the other chrome bumper cars, just harder to find. I’ll hold out a bit an earlier one.
But I agree! It’s not far from being a fun little runabout for someone.

If I was closer, I’d consider it instead of a 126...then again, I’ve always loved convertibles but have never REALLY wanted to own one as I am always afraid of roof leaks...
